Mini Make-up Haul (Models own, NARS, Benefit ect.) | Leah'xo

Hey guys, I'm sorry I haven't uploaded. I was going to the other day but I fell down the stairs and my side is very sore. I am limited in my movement with it so I just haven't been feeling up to it. I'll be up and running soon Anyway the other week I went to a Welsh market and got some goodies. I hope you enjoy.

The first thing I got was a powder eyeshadow from Models Own. There was only these ones left and I just had to pick them up! The was NEON PINK and NEON ORANGE. Which I think I can create some imaginative looks. I am hoping they are pigmented, they look matte through the packaging. So I am hoping they good.

The second thing I got was a powder brush from Marks and Spencers. The hair are so so so sooo soft I could stroke it on my face 24/7. It is a small kabuki brush which says it's for mineral foundation but I am going to use it for powder.
The lighting is abit funky but it's the best one:)

The next thing I got was also from Marks and Spencers but the line if now discontinued. It is a voluminous lip serum. I haven't tried this out yet but I thought it sounded cool. I have a very small upper lip so I am hoping this works. It is from the Honey Miel Range.

The most exciting thing is the Benefit Dr. Feelgood. Although I am quite confused about this product I am so excited to try it out. It says on the container 'This invisible refiner, blended with Vitamin C helps to smooth away the appearance of fine lines while leaving skin feeling and looking more silky, flawless and matte to the touch. It's a colourless, weightless miracle worker' I am so very excited:)

I also got a little pearl eyeshadow. I am not going to go into much detail because I can't find it anywhere online but it is such a lovely iridescent white. It is from Revolution Madina. There is no point telling you all about something you can't get if you like it...

The last thing I got was a Nars Bronzing Powder. In the shade Irrisistablement. First I didn't look at the shade and in the car home I was gutted because it was too dark. I thought it was a pressed face powder but when I went on their website and saw it was a bronzer I was so happy. I am abit worried it'll make me look orange but I'll give it ago!!
I hope you have enjoyed this blog posts. Comment down below which ones you'd like to see a tutorial on. Have a good day.

Haul - Primark, TJ Hughes and Much More | Leah'xo

My Mum, my Sister and I went shopping for my school uniform. The one rule we had was not to get side tracked by everything else. I can tell you that went out the window when we saw this very cheap outlet shop. So here we go....

First from Primark I got a beauty blender dupe. It is actually called an egg sponge and was £1.50. It is a peach and actually is like a neon peach. I am in love with this already and I only tested it on a tiny bit of concealer when I got home. I hope this is a good purchase because I'd much rather spend £1.50 for a quick application that around £16 because ain't nobody got time for that. I am going to do a full first impressions tomorrow when I am doing my make-up.

The next thing I got from Primark was a eyebrow pencil. I have only recently started doing my eyebrows because my eyebrow hair is invisable it is so blonde, everything I tried made them turn ginger or too dark until recently when I purchased the MUA eyebrow pencil. (EYEBROW ROUTINE COMING SOON...) So I took a gamble and hoped the 'light' shade was not too dark and it had a cool undertone. I just done a little swatch and it did come out abit dark but I am hoping with the spooley on the end I can buff the colour into my eyebrow. This was £1 and I am actually very impressed with the softness of the spooley.

From Primark I also got a Gel Effect Top Coat. I am sick of my nail varnish chipping the next day so I thought the Gel Effect would add some extra strength. The top coat I have is like water and just makes your nails a mess so I am quite excited to try this. I am hoping to do some aztec nail art for my mums friends birthday party coming up. I might do a step by step tutorial. Anyone interested?

The last thing I got from Primark was a twin pack of make-up remover wipes. I got the deep cleansing ones (in blue packet). I don't know what skin type I have for certain but I have come to a conclusion I am combination. I have quite oily skin but I get severe dry patches aswell. The blue ones say they are for combination skin so I am hoping they are okay because my dryness has flared up and my face is quite sore.

I also went to TJ Hughes. If anybody doesn't know what this shop is it's like TK Maxx. It has loads of things from beauty to fashion to home ware for a discounted price. I got 2 things from there. The first item is false eyelashes. I am going to a party next week and wanted to try some false eyelashes out and I saw some for 50p and thought they were a steal. I brought them home and the glue had dried up which is very disappointing but I can just buy some more glue. They are super long aswell :) I bought 2. One for Practicing and another for the actual night. I may just buy some Girls Aloud ones though.

The last thing I got was some concealer. NYC Smooth Skin Liquid Concealer in Light. From the tiny bit I but on my face it seemed so smooth. I was abit sceptical because it is a thick formula so I thought it would crease under the eye and sink into fine lines and creases but it never. I also hope this is a good concealer because I really want it to be. This was only 99p reduced for £3 I think. So anyway it's a good price.

I then went into a shop called Roman and got my school bag. It is a dark brown with like a muddy gold colour on it's sides. I loved this as soon as I saw it. It was originally £30 but it was marked down to £15. All the bags were half price and they all were beautiful. The bag is amazing and it also comes with a shoulder strap resulting in me rushing to the till with my mum's credit card :) LOVE YOU MUM :) She also loved it so she was happy I made a quick choice - last year it took me about 20 shops to pick one, obviously at different times. I am just very picky and I know what I want. Hahah.

My sister and I was very good and only got one thing from the cheap outlet shop. My mum on the other hand :) I got a pair or dark blue shorts with aztec designs on the side. They were originally £12 and they were only £2!! I absolutely love them. I tried them on and they are a lovely fit, but to be honest I could of got away with a size smaller but I don't care:)

I hope you are all well, are you ready for school? Comment down below your favorite shop!!

My Addiction To Lush | Leah'xo

DISCLAIMER - I AM NOT BEING PAID TO FEATURE ANY PRODUCTS IN THIS BLOG, ALL VIEWS ARE MY OWN. I DID NOT GET PAID TO FEATURE LUSH IN MY BLOG EITHER, I JUST HAVE BECAME OBSESSED TODAY AND THOUGHT YOU'D LIKE TO KNOW.
Watching Bunny's (Grav3yardgirl on YouTube) Birthday Lush haul I decided to drop in today and at first I was looking around and thought - "This is abit overpriced" Then I tried some samples and fell in love They are against animal testing, they only use fresh ingredients, they are 100% vegetarian, they are handmade AND the packaging is plain resulting in easier recycling!! WHAT MORE COULD YOU ASK FOR?  . I only bought a small something because I didn't have much money but there's alot on my wish list. I thought I'd share my wishlist with a brief description (from the website!). I think I am going to do one per section because there is alot I would love:

Pink Fun, £5.00 for the amount in picture:-
This Image Had To Be Big Otherwise You Couldn't See It Properly.

This is a magic product, you can use it as shampoo, bubble bath, play-do, soap, body cleanser. SO MANY THINGS. The website says :-
'Ideal for children (of all ages), Pink Fun can be whatever you want it to be. This gentle 4-in-1 product can be used as a solid shampoo, bubble bar, soap, or even for play. One of five colours in the range, this is a nostalgic trip back in time to childhood smells of vanilla and sweets. First, enjoy making models and shapes out of it, and then either break off a small piece and use as a soap or shampoo, or crumble under running water for bubble bath. Its sweet smell comes from tonka absolute, which adds a warm, caramel note.'
Doesn't it just sound amazing, it's like play-do that a teenager can play with and not get funny looks :) ahah.
Herbalism, £6.40 for a 100g tub :-

This is one of the product the woman shown me in the shop today, it is a cleanser for the skin. It smells vinegary and looks like moss. When she picked it up I looked like she was mad. Then she picked abit up and added water. It was like magic! I said that I have been breaking out recently and loads of blackheads have appeared and she said this would be great. I want it so badly now! Shame I didn't have enough money with me! It has the strangest ingredients including NETTLES?! But it is so nice on the skin. The website says :-
'Nettles, rosemary and rice bran vinegar work to cleanse the skin, removing dirt and grease, leaving bright and beautifully clean skin. Chamomile blue oil and rose absolute are used for balancing skin tone. Rice bran and ground almonds will gently exfoliate the skin and when mixed with water, the almonds create a soft cleansing milk. Our chlorophyllin is extracted from alfalfa, which is rich in vitamins and minerals and is great for revitalising the skin.'
Sympathy for the Skin, £11.25 for 240g :-

This product seems like a fairy in a tub. It's a cooling body lotion which doesn't it sound amazing after a hot bath. The website says :-
'We've packed this lotion with bananas, cocoa butter and vanilla to nourish and soften sore skin. Fresh, organic bananas are mashed and added to a loose emulsion of vanilla pod infusion, cocoa butter and almond oil, which helps the skin more easily absorb the vitamin and mineral-rich bananas. Sandalwood is great for dry skin as it’s anti-inflammatory and cooling.'
Tea Tree Toner Tab, £1.00 for each tablet.

This is what I bought today as I seen Bunny had it. I am tempted to do a post about my nightly routine with this included, would anyone be interested? Anyway I think I am going to love this. As I actually have a proppa Facial Sauna I thought this product would be perfect. I am going to crumble half into the bottom of the facial sauna and some in a little cup and I then will use it another day. The website says :-

'If your skin could use a little extra TLC, try this powerful yet gentle treatment of tea tree oil and aloe vera. Tea tree is known for its antibacterial and antiseptic properties, and helps to combat the bacteria that causes spots. Aloe vera is kind, cooling and wonderfully gentle on the skin. Drop into a bowl of hot water, releasing the steam to open pores and allow the essential oils to be absorbed.'

And that's about all I want to try there is so many more products I would love but I tried to be harsh on myself and only tell you 4. When I get abit more money I think I may try some other things but for now I am happy with the Toner.

Would anybody be interested in a review of the tea tree toner tab?

Sunburn And New Clothing Haul | Leah'xo

*** Disclaimer, I am NOT skinny, I have a fuller figure and I am not at all body conscious. I would just like to say though if you are here to see a skinny perfect girl posing for pictures showing you her clothes you are in the wrong place. NO HATE, love y'all...***

Yesterday I was out in the sun playing with all of my mum's friends children. Casually doing duck, duck goose and all things fun. I came home with terrible sunburn, I am in so much pain. I have applied a tub of cream throughout the day. Any suggestions? I didn't think it was even that hot?!! Anyway aswell yesturday my mum treated me and took me shopping. Me and my sister got some clothes. She said that she'd take us again and get some more throughout the week. I got :
  • Coral Jelly Sandals --- £7.00
I love my new shoes, they are not for everyone but I love them. They have a small chunky heel and are the perfect coral shade. They are bright but they are subtle (sort of). I am very pale but these shoes add a bit of colour to my skin.

  • Bright Coral Poka-dot Cropped Shirt --- £12.00
I love this shirt, I got a size bigger so it's not cropped because I don't have a belly for it :), It's like hip height. I like it when it is buttoned right to the top, with a chunky neclace. I usually pair this with leggings and my jelly sandals. This outfit reminds me of Velvetgh0st's outfits. I love her and her style.

  • Black Floral Cropped Shirt --- £12.00
This is very similar to my poka-dot one but in more of a subtle print. On the hanger it does look like a old woman's curtains but it's nice on. I was uming and awing whether to get this because well I just wasn't loving it. But my mum forced me to get it because she said it looked stunning. So I was like chuck it in the basket :) (It's hard to impress my mum).

  • Coral Lace Kimono --- £12.00
This is very delicate and will look great with jean's and a plain top. The colours more of a peachy coral colour. I am actually scared of wearing this because it's so thin lace I don't want to pull something then it being ruined. I'll just have to be brave :) I've wanted one of these for ages so I was happy when my mum picked it out. I did want a fabric one but now i've wore this I AM IN LOVE.

  • Burntout Aztec White Tee-Shirt --- £6.00
I got this top because it is plain white so will go nice under my kimono. It has a very light shade of coral (going on peach) with light blue detailing. So my light blue jean's will also go nice with this. This top's also I cropped top so I got a size bigger to make it hip hight. Oh how I have great images in my head of this outfit. It won't look as nice on though ;) Ahahaha...

Hope you all have a wonderful day x
