1 Year Blogging Anniversary - 28.05.2015...

Hey guys, I can't believe it's been a year since I started blogging. I have achieved so much, and my blog is still growing. I know I post rarely, but I just am bad at time-keeping skills and I have had so much coursework to complete because I am in Year 10. (And my computer has been broke. The blogger app is not the best for Iphone.) Excuses, excuses...

I would just like to say a big thank you to everyone of my followers, I have 46 followers on my Bloglovin' account which is just amazing, I remember when I reached 10 and I was screaming so I am bursting inside.

This is the photo that made me start to fill and pluck my eyebrows.
The only people that know about my blog is my sister, this is because if my phone is dead and I see something amazing to take photos of I use hers. I have two sisters so I can't say she is the number one because they both are along with my brother, but seeming my other and sister and her twin brother is five - I don't think they will understand what a blog is.

My blog has came along so much, I remember I was so negative. I would always think that I was too young and nieve to be blogging, but everybody was so accepting. Even on twitter now, when I am abit clueless about something, someone always helps. Which I think is such a lovely environment to be associated with.
See? My new visable and TAMED eyebrow! ๐Ÿ˜‚

As you all know, I am 15 years old and I do have a passion for makeup especially. I am happy to say since I have started to blog my makeup collection has grown alot, and I cannot go now without checking out Superdrug and Boots - just to look but always come out with something.

I try to portray my personality through my blog posts, and I hope I do come off a nice person. Obviously you never fully understand someone because there is alot bloggers keep to themselves, but I feel I do include as much about me as I possibly can. I am still keeping this blog quite to all my friends and family because teenagers that don't understand why bloggers like to blog can be cruel, I don't mind people I haven't met, just people I know. It scares me abit.

Thank you all so much for following my blog, I hope to see you in the comments. If you are new to Blushingly Blonde why don't you follow and keep updated with my posts (which is rarely but I am trying to get better - honestly).

Thanks Again,

                      Leah - Blushingly Blonde. xo

Henna Tattoo and My Experience.

Hey guys, I've wanted a Henna Tattoo for ages - ever since they were all over Instagram! I didn't know where to get one so just put it on my bucket list and sort of accepted I'd probably never get one! Until... Me, My mum and Sister were walking around Liverpool and I saw a small 'hippy' shop that advertised they sell Henna and apply it for an extra fee.

My mum paid for mine as a treat, I think it was around £7. The henna lasted about 2 weeks, which I was overly happy about because I thought it would only last 7-9 days.
Disclaimer: I am very pale so the henna was a light colour, if you have a darker skin tone the colour of the henna stain will be darker.

I decided on a floral design for the top of my hand and just onto my wrist. I really liked the design and loved it when the man was applying it.
This is just after the henna paste had been applied. I was sat on the shop floor waiting for my sister to get hers. To be honest I really liked the colour of the paste and wished the stain was that colour.

I left the paste on over night! (I slept with my hand in a sock, so the paste did not fall off all over my bed)

This is what it looked like the morning later, yes I know it's not the best photo. I loved the design, and the colour grew on me throughout the day.

Half a week later; it was still going strong. This is a very bad picture - so I am very sorry!

The henna on the fingers faded first, then the main flowers and leafs. The last to fade was my thumb and the leaf near my wrist.

As you can see it faded kind of wierdly but that's okay!

I don't regret having it done and I would defiantly have another one.

Have you had a Henna Tattoo? What type of design would you have?

Getting to know me - Leah'xo

Hey guys, I have been writing BlushinglyBlonde since May last year but to be honest I don't think I have given anyone the chance to get to know me. I think this is because I didn't want anyone from school or my family to know about it. Now l don't mind because I have over 30 followers which takes time and a lot of effort to get a blog up and running. I love blogging and to me its not about getting famous and free samples. To somebody that does not write a blog they may think 30 followers is not much because they don't respect the effort it takes but for me I couldn't believe it and I am so thankful.

Anyway, I wanted to start of this year with a clean slate. I want everyone to get to know me so overall everyone can have a better experience when reading my blog. I am going to put a lot more time and effort into my blog so starting off I am going to answer some questions...

1. Brief Summery About You!
My name is Leah, I am 14 years old (15 in 19 days!!) I live in England and have an amazing family and group of friends that I would do anything for. I am in Year 10 and have started doing my GCSE's which is a shock to my system but I am finding them OK and actually quite fun.

2. Why did you start a blog and how did you come up with the name?
After becoming obsessed with youtube I really wanted to start a youtube channel, but knowing that I really did not have the confidence (or the equipment) I started to create a blog. My blogs name was originally LeahsBeautyLife or something along the lines of that๐Ÿ™ˆ. After a while I started feeling a bit down about the name because everybody else's blogs had such inspirational and creative names. So (as you do) I googled it and read a good article - after a week of thinking I came up with BlushinglyBlonde. Because I am blonde and I have a bit of a problem with blusher, it's my favourite makeup product.

3. Something you love?
Well this is an easy one! Something I love is making an effort. Not for anyone for yourself. Some people do forget to do this sometimes. "Who you makin' an effort for?" Thats probably the most annoying thing ever when you put on a bit of lipstick. I can't speak for adults but I know this is the case for teenagers. I love walking the shop feeling like I'm on a catwalk, hahah! Who doesn't?

Thank you for reading - What do you love?

New Years Resolutions | Leah'xo

Hey guys, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

2014 has been an amazing year, I hope 2015 will be the same! I know people dislike it when people are like 'New Year - New Me' but honestly I am making changes this year. I have a few resolutions. Do you have any New Year resolutions?

Mine are
1. To become more active and healthy. Last year I tried and tried to diet and eat health but actually never went through with anything long term. By long term I mean more than 2 days. Hahaha. But becoming more active will help my determination!

2. To blog more!! Honestly if you have been here from the start you will have probably recognized that I didnt upload very often! I was very limited with technology, but now I have an Iphone as you can probably tell my contents will be more frequently and better.

There are my two resolutions. I only have two because I want to focus on them two alone.

Thanks for reading - have you made any resolutions?

Orginally uploaded 01/01/2015 but had a spelling mistake so is edited. So it'll probably pop up near the top of my blog:/

New Years Eve Makeup Looks | Leah'xo

Hey guys, it's nearly 2015. Shocking- I know, I honestly don't know where 2014 has gone. 365 uncounted days but anyway let's get straight into the looks.

I created a subtle loom for those who don't like bold makeup. Also I am sorry about the structure of these post's, I know they look like I am going on forever but I have tried to break it down with pictures. If you do do this look please tweet me what products you are using instead of me, I would love to know alternatives...

The Final Look. Excuse the eyebrow situation...
Step by Step...
  1. *Applied my foundation (Laval Secret Beauty in Fair.). With the MUA Pro Base Conceal and Brighten Kit I used the skin tone shade to conceal any breakout, I find cream concealer lasts longer so will survive the night. Then I used the more peachy toned concealer to counteract the purplish pigmentation under my eyes, this does the trick but usually tends to crease so I use this lightly but overall I do get brilliant coverage from these products.
  2. *After letting it settle into my skin I set it with Miss Sporty So Clear pressed powder in Translucent. I swear by this powder. It reduces the redness of breakouts and leaves your face looking smooth. But this is the type of powder that may make you look cakey if you are abit heavy handed. I then applied George's (from ASDA) blusher in Little Gem. This has gold specks running through it so leaves you with a glowing finish and the shade of pink is gorgeous.

  3. For the eyes, I tried out a new palette I got for Christmas. It's the Drop Dead Gorgeous Smokey Eyes Palette. It's in a beautiful gold glitter packaging, but the best bit is that it's not actual glitter. So you don't find your make-up bag and everything inside has glitter stuck to it and when you are handling it's smooth and not scratchy. Anyway -
1 # I used the white shade in my inner corner and blended towards the lid.
2 # Then I put the pink shade all over my lid, very messily but an even colour was applied.
3 # On the outer third of my eye I applied the coppery brown shade and blended it in with the pink.
4 # Then with the 'dreaded' foam applicators given with the palette; I used the tip of one to get a very thin line of the gray shade and blended it out with my angled eyeshadow brush.
5 # The palette came with a gel type of eyeliner with silver specks of glitter. So with the eyeliner brush (provided) I made a thin line following my lash-line and flicked it out very thinly. To be honest it wasn't the most pigmented but when I dabbed the gray shadow over the top it stood out more.
6 # I also added abit of the mascara that was provided and to my shock it was actually quite amazing!
7 # I then added some silver glitter because the makeup looked abit dull.

That was it for my first look. A simple smokey eye using my new palette. I am pretty impressed with the pigmentation and the consistency of the eyeshadows. The mascara is incredible and so is the eyeliner brush. I think if the eyeliner was a tad bit more pigmented it would be a 10/10 from me!

SEVENTEEN Nail Stash Collection // Leah'xo

Hey guys, I got this as an early Christmas present off my friend and knew I had to do a review on it.  It's the SEVENTEEN Nail Stash Collection.

*babble alert*
This is a very good christmas idea because if they paint their nails alot or they don't have a specific type of colour they like then a set is for everybody. Personally I don't have a colour scheme I stick to on my nails it's whatever I feel like but I never not have them painted. Whereas my friend always goes for the dark burgandy, purple shades. So for her I usually just stick to a single bottle because she wouldn't wear half of the ones in a set -ANYWAY-

In this set there are nine mini bottles of nail varnish, 4 solid colours, 4 metallic colours and one glittery one. The colours are: (in order) Pink Lemonade, Caribbean Coral, Ruby Gem, Peacock, Fury, Moonstruck, Copper, Navy Glint and Nightshade. They are all stunning colours and go on very easily. They are mini bottles so the brush is smaller than what the full size one would be but it's more accurate.
I wanted to get this up because they are on sale for £6.00 at Boots.com right now (originally £12.00)

My favourite is the Peacock and Ruby Gem, The peacock reminds me of petrol. You know- when you see petrol spilt on the road and It looks like a rainbow type of pattern but the nail varnish is so much more vibrant! It has also a gold shimmer aspect to it so it beautiful when it catches the light๐Ÿ˜Š. The ruby gem shade is a gorgeous burgundy shade. It is a solid coulour and spreads evenly. I painted my nails in the dark and in the morning they were a bit amateur looking but we're still very nice.
The only shade I am disappointed in is the pink lemonade shade it doesn't have much pigmentation but has the same great formula as the others! When I applied the first coat it looked like I had just applied clear nail varnish but I think it would be a really good French manicure colour!

I hope you get the chance to try these out! They are amazing...

Liebster Award.

Hey guys. I ever thought I'd get nominated to do an award or tag. I was very surprised when yesterday I got nominated for the Liebster Award. I have researched abit about the 'award' and it does suggest a few different strategies so I am just going to pick the one I have saw the most.

Thank you to Adele from All Things Adele. Everyone should go give her loves, follow her and check out her answers for her set of questions because she puts so much effort into her posts.<3. I can't believe how similar we are through our answers. I think this is such a good idea for new bloggers.

So here are the questions she asked :

   1. Why did you start blogging?
I watched loads of YouTube video's about makeup and a lot of tutorials, as I watched more and my subscription list got to nearly 250 channels. (Only about 50 of them were not beauty or fashion) I became more familiar with makeup and found myself wanting to start YouTube videos myself. But I wasn't brave enough, so I kept putting it off and then stumbled across blogspot. I fell in love with reading peoples blog and made my own one day. Now I love it and wouldn't change it for the world.

   2. What is your favorite thing about blogging?
I love the community of bloggers. They are all so nice and genuine. But my favorite thing is probably the feeling you get when someone comments on your post saying thank you for helping, or just a comment. It's reassurance people read your blog and like your contents.

   3. Sweet food or savory food?
Good question :), I have to be in the mood for chocolate or sweets. So I think I'd pick savory. Give me a pack of sour cream and onion party mix crisps any day. Hahaha.

       4. Favorite film?
I am a (not so) secret Hunger Games and Harry Potter Fan :) But I think my absolute favorite film has to be ANY teenage romances. I just think they're so cute to watch - Hahaha.

5.) What do you do in your spare time? (Besides Blogging)
In my spare time I do BSL. (British Sign Language) And I have my Level 1 qualification in BSL. I volunteer at a group who sign songs and raise money for the deaf community.

     6. Where would you go if you could travel anywhere in the world?
I used to go abroad every year when I was little but now I have younger siblings we don't go abroad. They don't like the heat, If I went abroad I would love to go America. The first ever stop would be to Sephora just to experience it in person. Then I'd buy a McDonald's because apparently the meals are bigger than England's? Who knows.

     7. Do you prefer Tea or Coffee?
Easy - Tea. Stereotypical British person :) I only prefer it because I have no sugar in so I find it healthier for me ;) And its not as bitter...

     8. What is your favorite colour?
My favorite colour is White. I don't know why I just think it's clean looking and yeah that's about it :/ Hahaha

      9. What's your favorite type of restaurant?
I don't really eat out I usually have takeaways, but even then it's only when my mum's ill and doesn't want to cook or when we are having a DVD night. But I really love a Pizza takeaway. So Italian :)

     10. Are you a cosy night in or party all night type of person?
Hard one, I don't go to alot of parties but when I do I go all out and don't stop so in some ways I'm a party all night kind of person, but there is nothing better than relaxing in bed reading blogs, watching videos with a nice brew (cup of tea) and a chocolate biscuit...

I hope my answers are OK, I've answered them honestly and I hope you enjoyed reading them.  I tag

Emma Louise from Emmy's Blog,
Katherine from KatherineRosie,
Katie from Curvaceous Beauty,
Leah from Beyond the Velvet,
Rachel from Beyond the Velvet,
And last but not least -
Meg from A Day in the Life of a Teenage Girl.

My questions are:
1.What's your number one played song on your phone/ipod/computer?
 2. If you could throw any type of party, what would it be like and what would it be for?
 3. What would you name your autobiography?
 4. What was the last movie, TV show or book that made you cry or tear up?
 5. What is your favorite smell and sound? (Strange I know! -Haha)
 6. What vision do you have for your blog in the future?
 7. How do you get ready/prepare to write a blog post?
 8. Who was your inspiration to start blogging?
 9. How open are you about your blog, do you tell people alot or are you more secretive?
 10. What is the first feature you look at in someone?

None of you have to do it but I love all your blogs and thought it would be nice to nominate you all <3 Good luck.

Skincare Wishlist | Leah'xo

Hey guys, I think to pursue with my blogging dreams I need alot more beauty items in my collection. Well I think that's a good enough excuse to go shopping, if not what is? Ha ha. My skin is so bad all the time, I think it's because I'm a teenager and my hormones are running wild but sometimes I am at my wits end with it. Sometimes it's so dry foundation looks awful, Sometimes it's so oily my make-up slides off, Sometimes it's got so many blemishes I want to cry and Sometimes it's so nice and smooth that I go bare faced everywhere.

I don't do much skin care. I take my make-up off with make-up wipes. I recently have been using Simple Make-up Wipes and so far I like them but I think I like my previous ones more. They were from Primark and cost £1 for 50 wipes.

Here's my wishlist of skin care products and a teeth thing (couldn't resist)!

Herbalism Facial Cleanser : I raved about this months ago in my Lush Blog Post (here), I still want everything on that wishlist though aha. I spoke briefly about this along with loads of other stuff. I will have it one day :) The thing that gets me with this product is that it's got nettles in. And other very organic ingredient, at the moment my skin needs some TLC so I am really looking forward to getting this soon. This is £6.75 for 100g.

Garnier Fresh Refining Toner Shine Be Gone! : I was looking for a good toner everywhere and I thought the micellar water from garnier. I see all the youtubers and blog writers raving about it but when I went onto the Superdrug website their was a whole line of toning waters. I have a very oily T-zone so thought this may do the trick as it is mattifying. It is cheaper than the micellar water but I am hoping it is still good. When my mum is buying this for christmas she'll probably be thinking i'm mad it's just water:) This is £2.19 for 200ml.

Garnier Moisture Match Hydrating Gel Wake Me Up : This is from the same brand but really drawn by attention. I find it so hard to wake up in the mornings and when I do my skin feels horrible when applying make-up. A hydrating gel sounds lush, cooling and reviving my skin in the morning. This is £3.99 for 50ml.

Ayesha Fresh Face Masks : When I went on the Lush website yesterday evening I really wanted to find a mask for when I wanted a pamper night. I wanted something for blackheads and pores. I couldn't find one after over-looking this one I nearly gave up until I clicked this one. The description says :
We use moisturising honey and fresh asparagus and kiwis in this brightening fresh face mask. Fuller’s earth and witch hazel absorb dirt and oil, helping to tighten the skin, whilst elderflower vinegar and elderflower oils balance out skin tone. How nice does that sound?! This is £6.50 for 75g.

Atomic toothy tabs:
'Go to war on bad breath with Atomic. This solid toothpaste in tab form gently cleans your teeth, refreshes your mouth, and soothes ulcers as it’s made with cinnamon and cloves, bicarbonate of soda, kaolin powder, and essential oils.' Don't they just sound amazing. To be honest it's just the novelty which makes me want to buy these but they only cost £2.50 for 12g so no harm going to be done ;)

Tea Tree Skin Clearing Foaming Cleanser: When I was reading the reviews alot of them said it helped with their breakouts, didn't dry their skin and some even said it helped with their oiliness. Honestly it sounds like heaven in a bottle but is it too good to be true? I hope no because if I am ever in The Body Shop with £5 I will be tempted to buy it!!

Mini Make-up Haul (Models own, NARS, Benefit ect.) | Leah'xo

Hey guys, I'm sorry I haven't uploaded. I was going to the other day but I fell down the stairs and my side is very sore. I am limited in my movement with it so I just haven't been feeling up to it. I'll be up and running soon Anyway the other week I went to a Welsh market and got some goodies. I hope you enjoy.

The first thing I got was a powder eyeshadow from Models Own. There was only these ones left and I just had to pick them up! The was NEON PINK and NEON ORANGE. Which I think I can create some imaginative looks. I am hoping they are pigmented, they look matte through the packaging. So I am hoping they good.

The second thing I got was a powder brush from Marks and Spencers. The hair are so so so sooo soft I could stroke it on my face 24/7. It is a small kabuki brush which says it's for mineral foundation but I am going to use it for powder.
The lighting is abit funky but it's the best one:)

The next thing I got was also from Marks and Spencers but the line if now discontinued. It is a voluminous lip serum. I haven't tried this out yet but I thought it sounded cool. I have a very small upper lip so I am hoping this works. It is from the Honey Miel Range.

The most exciting thing is the Benefit Dr. Feelgood. Although I am quite confused about this product I am so excited to try it out. It says on the container 'This invisible refiner, blended with Vitamin C helps to smooth away the appearance of fine lines while leaving skin feeling and looking more silky, flawless and matte to the touch. It's a colourless, weightless miracle worker' I am so very excited:)

I also got a little pearl eyeshadow. I am not going to go into much detail because I can't find it anywhere online but it is such a lovely iridescent white. It is from Revolution Madina. There is no point telling you all about something you can't get if you like it...

The last thing I got was a Nars Bronzing Powder. In the shade Irrisistablement. First I didn't look at the shade and in the car home I was gutted because it was too dark. I thought it was a pressed face powder but when I went on their website and saw it was a bronzer I was so happy. I am abit worried it'll make me look orange but I'll give it ago!!
I hope you have enjoyed this blog posts. Comment down below which ones you'd like to see a tutorial on. Have a good day.

OOTD : Favorite Autumn Outfit | Leah'xo

The transition between Summer and Autumn is always the worst. Your body isn't used to all the rain and wind. A good jumper is always a big yes in anybody's wardrobe. The thing is my mum gave all my old clothes to charity so all I have is strappy tops and have absolutely no jackets!
So I hunted for a nice warm(ish) outfit that you can dress up and down.
Anyway let's get straight into what I have been wearing recently:
Full Outfit - Cardigan - Primark, very cheap, I think around £5.

Plain Vest Top from George at ASDA,  £2.50

Acid Washed Jeans from Primark, £12
Lee Cooper Pink Canvas Pumps from Sports Direct, £10

Motivational Monday - Food | Leah'xo

Hey guys, I needed to look at my diet carefully and understand actually how much rubbish I am eating. One thing you need to know. The reason I am doing this is so people can see that you can change your life around. So absolutely no judging about me or if someone says something in the comments about themselves. We should be proud to say we are apart of this community and shouldn't be afraid of saying anything.

Anyway :)

My diet before was so bad I can't believe it. I go to school in the morning and I can't eat anything before 8.30am-9am because I can't stomach it. So I never used to east anything for breakfast just a bag of chocolate and can of pop. Now I don't see how I actually could live on that! For lunch I don't have much of an option because I have to transport it all around school and anything too fancy will just be a disaster. Hahah. I used to have a sandwich with ham and cheese. Sounds OKish? Then I'd have the left over chocolate and a pure orange juice. Also my evening meal was always quick because I didn't really want anything healthy after eating crap all day.

QUICK SUMMARY.

Breakfast: Sweets or Chocolate with a sugary drink.

Lunch: A sandwich with usually ham on with a pure orange juice.

Tea: Chicken Nuggets and Waffles and a can of coke.

(I didn't drink that often. It didn't cross my mind to have a glass of water.)
I know that's really bad but it's true, everything I eat was full of sugar and fat. I was blinded by the sweetness of it all. But over the past week it has all changed. My diet consists of as much water as I possibly can drink, as much fruit and veg and as much wholemeal.

QUICK SUMMARY.

Breakfast: Yogurt with oats and banana with a glass of milk.

Lunch: Wholemeal wrap with ham and lettuce, with a bottle of water and a orange.

Tea: A salad with chicken. A banana and a glass of orange juice.

A dramatic change for my body, but I know I'll see a difference soon.

Do you have a rough meal plan? I'd love to know. Comment down below and tell me what you eat!

Love you all, Leah'xo

Becoming Healthier | Leah'xo

Hey guys, as you all know I am 14 years old (nearly 15, well in 6 months). I am in that stage where everybody is obsessed with diets and stuff but why be worry yourself because you won't be happy? Personally I eat anything I want and I don't give it a second thought, but I am tired of feeling unmotivated all the time. I am a semi-active person always walking around and running/playing with young children (brother and sister) but just eat anything. I have been saying for months, I want to eat healthier and be more active and NO, it's not a diet - it's just a lifestyle change.

So I thought you may want to come on the journey with me?! I am going to start a Motivation Monday. Every Monday I keep you all updated with my lifestyle change and give you a few tips I have picked up from other people.

So this is going to be quite a personal series on my blog, so I hope you enjoy it and I hope I inspire you to maybe get out abit more and do that extra little bit.  So keep a look out for Monday's blog post about my used to be meal plan and my new and IMPROVED meal plan...

See you all soon,
Love you all loads,
  Leah'xo

What are your thoughts?!

Charity Shop; Thrift Shop; Second-Hand Shop. EW no thanks. That's what I hear in my school. But seriously why not? If you actually look at the things in a charity shop there is so many good and quality items. I am hoping to do a charity spree soon and I'll show you the things. The only off-put is that someone else has been wearing them but what does that matter if you wash them. Once my cousin found a Hollister T-shirt and it was only £2.00. Bargains in this day and age can help your budget stretch alot more further. In America they have pretty awesome charity shops (thrift stores). One near where Bunny (Grav3yardgirl) has a certain price each day you go, which I think is pretty cool.

QOTD : Who think we should spend abit more time shopping in charity shops and helping a good cause?

I just want to know your thoughts. Is it really that bad like people in my school says it is? And are clothes all about labels? I was inspired to write this post because of Katherine, who is a blogger I stumbled across lately and I am absolutely obsessed with her blog! :)

Lots of Love,

Eye Product Tag | Leah'xo

Hey guys, I was scrolling through twitter finding other beauty bloggers like myself. I found a woman who is called Jessica her blog is amazing her blog is amazing <-- Click to be directed to her blog.
She doesn't know I'm writing this but she seems so lovely and genuine and I'd defiantly go give it a check out. Anyway I found her and she tweeted something about her creating an eye product tag and I needed to try and answer the questions myself.

DISCLAIMER. I haven't been doing eyeshadow for long because I just simply hated the thought of it. Then one foggy Christmas night Santa came to say sidetracked Leah :) By the way that is an English Christmas song I'm not just weird... Then last Christmas my family just gave me loads of eye shadows so I thought I'd ought to try them out. Some were good and some not so good. But I use them all still and I am very grateful!! So only this past year I have been doing stuff with eyeshadow so I don't have loads of things..

 1. Favorite Neutral Eye Palette?
The light pink book is the Day Palette.

I don't know whether this is classed as an eyeshadow palette. But the one I love is A Ted Baker thing. It comes in a set of three Day, Night, Party. It looks like a book case of three little books. It has got 2 eye shadows, a blusher and 2 lipglosses. They are both shimmery and their is a light beige colour and a darker drown. Which you can create a 2 tone smokey eye. They don't have incredible pigmentation so makes it a good subtle eyeshadow look. Probably avoid if you are looking for a high pigmentation lipgloss and eyeshadow.

 2. Cream or pressed shadow?
This one is a tough one. They both have pros and cons. But I think I may pick pressed eyeshadow. Only because it's easier to work with. They blend easier and can be layered, if you layer to much cream shadow it looks wierd. But if I was going for a all day one colour eyeshadow I'd pick a cream eyeshadow. I only have 1 cream eyeshadow at the moment but I am in the process of buying more. I have my eye on the one from Soap and Glory.

 3. Best luxury vs drugstore products?
I don't really own a luxury product. Maybe my Calvin Klein Cream eyeshadow but I got that from the Poundshop so I the brand is just not the price. But I would alway pick drugstore. Sometimes is dirt cheap and just as good. If not just look for another brand because there is SO MANY brands in the drugstore side of things.

   4. Do eyeshadow primers make a difference?

I just use the plain old concealer trick. Pop abit on the lid and blend then the eyeshadow has something to stick to. I also use my Calvin Klein cream eyeshadow as a primer and eyeshadow and then just add definition into my crease. Hands down my eyeshadow lasts all day and doesn't crease. I may be lucky or I may just have a good combinations..

 5. Most Disappointing Eye Product?
Erm, I think my most disappointing eye product is when I bought fake lashes and the glue was dried up. When I purchased different glue for them, that was tacky and wouldn't spread over the band of the lashes so I just threw them away. I know, I know. I think I may just wait until I'm abit more experienced :)

 6. Best product for getting rid of dark circles?
I don't get dark circles but I do have permanent blue/purple under eyes, it's genetic the whole family do! But what I do to try and lighten up my undereye and counteract the blue undertones is use a peachy concealer and then use my new NYC concealer, it is thick, doesn't budge and makes my skin so soft. And it doesn't dry my eyes out.

 7.  Most desired eye product you really with was in your collection?
Probably a naked palette. Or a Lorac palette. No defiantly a Naked Palette! I absolutely adore the looks people create with it. The brush it comes with looks really good and I just really want it ;)

 8. Favorite Mascara?
Technic Idoll 360 degrees Mascara. Not only has it got a swanky packaging the brush is too. I recently bought this at a market stall for £1.99 which is a steal for a technic product I think.

9. The Most Expensive Eye Product You Own?

I don't own anything expensive because I haven't been interested in eyeshadow for that long. But for christmas I will be getting some things so watch this space :)

10. Best for Brows?

I don't usually fill in my brows because they're so blonde everything turns them blonde but I do like the MUA one I think that is the one. The only negative thing about this product is the brush on the end scratches your face red raw so they could swap it for a spooley. It was only £1 I think!!

Thank you Jen for letting me complete your tag. I have tagged a few people but I will contact them directly :) GOOD LUCK and I also tag anybody who wants to do it :) x

First Reviews - NYC Applelicious Lip Balm | Leah'xo

I went to Liverpool with my friend. We went to do homework but then decided to go shopping. I didn't have much money because we weren't suppose to go shopping so I was gutted but I still got something. I am planning to get loads of make-up and stuff for Christmas so I will have loads of posts etc.. Anyway I went into the Poundshop to get my little brother and sister a toy then I slowly passed the make-up section and something caught my eye. It was in a fushia pink tube and I recognized the brand so I picked it up not really looking too much of it. I just new it was lip balm.

I got home and swatched it and I am really impressed with it. The colour is Apple Blossom which is a sheer red. I think it is meant to be a plum colour but it's more of a reddy colour. It looks the least pigmented from what I can gather from google images. Resulting in it being perfect for school. It has a white apple center which gives me the impression that is the lip balm bit and the outside is the lipstick. Lips stay moisturized and best bit is it smells amazing. It actually smells of candy apples. I just want to eat it. I wouldn't advice it though :)

You can buy this off the Superdrug website for £2.49

Halloween | Leah'xo

Hey guys, it's coming into the Halloween Season. In England we aren't big on Halloween. We buy sweets and give them out but America is mental (in a good way) when it comes to Halloween. As Grav3yardgirl shows every year people in her neighborhood are so generous. Anyway this is just a quick post on what type of tutorials should I do? I cannot do all the fancy stuff just simple make-up ideas. For example:

Elsa from Frozen.
Queen Of Hearts from Alice In Wonderland
A Sexy Vampire for all the older teenagers out there :)
A witch again for older people :)

Half a face of make-up and half candy skull.

Yeah so guys if anybody wants a specific one make sure to comment down below. "I'm not a mind reader" Quoted from all the mothers out there. Happy September and See you SOOONN

Night Before Party Routine | Leah'xo

I am so excited, I have a party on Friday and I am going to bring you along the journey. It's 7pm-1am so a long night but I get food there so I am happy :) This is going to be a 4/5 part series. Let's get straight into it....

First of all I will take off all my make-up so I have a fresh face. I use the Primark make-up wipes and I love how they aren't wet so you can really cleanse the make-up off your face.
Primark Deep Facial Cleansing Wipes. £1 for 2 packs of 25 wipes.

Then I just check my blog for comments, twitter for new people to follow and my personal facebook.
My favorite youtuber at the moment is Rachel, RCLBeauty101.

I then wash my hair, even though I am going to wash it tomorrow night it'll have less oil and also it will be okay for school. Here is my sassy picture of my hair...

Next I will moisturize my face with my Mr Cole day cream. I love this stuff and recently I have been using it every day. Here is what it looks like :-

Last thing I will do is to put it in a plait so it is wavy the next morning like soooo.

And the only thing important thing I do it paint my nails a light colour so when I take it off at night it wouldn't have stained my nails and if anything I can put my chosen nail colour over the top.

School Emergency | Leah'xo

Most schools go back to school tomorrow, I go back on Wednesday so I am going to do my preparing tomorrow. *Keep updated for my back to school uniform* Anyway what I can do it my DIY Emergancy Kit for school.

 1. Deodorant - Last year I was guilty of having to ask loads of people for deodorant because I hadn't got any and I was sweating. So I would suggest to take a roll on deodorant incase you set of your fire alarms but I take spray because ain't nobody got time to be unbuttoning shirts taking them off waiting for the roll on to sink into your skin and then buttoning your shirt #firstworldproblems Ahaha.
 2. Hair Brush - School isn't always easy. You may need to brush your hair at break because you have been pulling it out to try and answer your algebra question. Just a simple small one or a tangle teaser.
 3. Chewy or Mints - There may be a time where you eat your tuna sandwich and feel abit insecure or where you just need to chew. Just don't let on you have any or you will be replacing them everyday, people go crazy for them :)
 4. Shine Blotting Tissues - If you are like me and have a very oily T-zone you may need these just to freshen up through-out the day. Even though you can add powder I just find these do a better job as powder may make you look cakey.
 5. Lip Balm - I always have chapped lips so I have medicated lip balm from ASDA but you can have tinted lip balm. Adding abit more your style into it :)
 6. Lotion - When you are always washing your hands in school your hands can get sore and dry so if you just add a travel sized body lotion you won't have that problem, I always get dry around my fingernails so this helps alot.
 7. Perfume or Body Mist - Even if you add 1000 squirts of perfume it if going to wear off throughout the 6 hour day. Just so you can smell nice take a small body spray. This helps if you are abit sweaty aswell :)

I hope you enjoyed reading my Emergency School Kit, make sure to comment down below if you think I have missed anything out.
