1 Year Blogging Anniversary - 28.05.2015...

Hey guys, I can't believe it's been a year since I started blogging. I have achieved so much, and my blog is still growing. I know I post rarely, but I just am bad at time-keeping skills and I have had so much coursework to complete because I am in Year 10. (And my computer has been broke. The blogger app is not the best for Iphone.) Excuses, excuses...

I would just like to say a big thank you to everyone of my followers, I have 46 followers on my Bloglovin' account which is just amazing, I remember when I reached 10 and I was screaming so I am bursting inside.

This is the photo that made me start to fill and pluck my eyebrows.
The only people that know about my blog is my sister, this is because if my phone is dead and I see something amazing to take photos of I use hers. I have two sisters so I can't say she is the number one because they both are along with my brother, but seeming my other and sister and her twin brother is five - I don't think they will understand what a blog is.

My blog has came along so much, I remember I was so negative. I would always think that I was too young and nieve to be blogging, but everybody was so accepting. Even on twitter now, when I am abit clueless about something, someone always helps. Which I think is such a lovely environment to be associated with.
See? My new visable and TAMED eyebrow! 😂

As you all know, I am 15 years old and I do have a passion for makeup especially. I am happy to say since I have started to blog my makeup collection has grown alot, and I cannot go now without checking out Superdrug and Boots - just to look but always come out with something.

I try to portray my personality through my blog posts, and I hope I do come off a nice person. Obviously you never fully understand someone because there is alot bloggers keep to themselves, but I feel I do include as much about me as I possibly can. I am still keeping this blog quite to all my friends and family because teenagers that don't understand why bloggers like to blog can be cruel, I don't mind people I haven't met, just people I know. It scares me abit.

Thank you all so much for following my blog, I hope to see you in the comments. If you are new to Blushingly Blonde why don't you follow and keep updated with my posts (which is rarely but I am trying to get better - honestly).

Thanks Again,

                      Leah - Blushingly Blonde. xo

Henna Tattoo and My Experience.

Hey guys, I've wanted a Henna Tattoo for ages - ever since they were all over Instagram! I didn't know where to get one so just put it on my bucket list and sort of accepted I'd probably never get one! Until... Me, My mum and Sister were walking around Liverpool and I saw a small 'hippy' shop that advertised they sell Henna and apply it for an extra fee.

My mum paid for mine as a treat, I think it was around £7. The henna lasted about 2 weeks, which I was overly happy about because I thought it would only last 7-9 days.
Disclaimer: I am very pale so the henna was a light colour, if you have a darker skin tone the colour of the henna stain will be darker.

I decided on a floral design for the top of my hand and just onto my wrist. I really liked the design and loved it when the man was applying it.
This is just after the henna paste had been applied. I was sat on the shop floor waiting for my sister to get hers. To be honest I really liked the colour of the paste and wished the stain was that colour.

I left the paste on over night! (I slept with my hand in a sock, so the paste did not fall off all over my bed)

This is what it looked like the morning later, yes I know it's not the best photo. I loved the design, and the colour grew on me throughout the day.

Half a week later; it was still going strong. This is a very bad picture - so I am very sorry!

The henna on the fingers faded first, then the main flowers and leafs. The last to fade was my thumb and the leaf near my wrist.

As you can see it faded kind of wierdly but that's okay!

I don't regret having it done and I would defiantly have another one.

Have you had a Henna Tattoo? What type of design would you have?

First Reviews - NYC Applelicious Lip Balm | Leah'xo

I went to Liverpool with my friend. We went to do homework but then decided to go shopping. I didn't have much money because we weren't suppose to go shopping so I was gutted but I still got something. I am planning to get loads of make-up and stuff for Christmas so I will have loads of posts etc.. Anyway I went into the Poundshop to get my little brother and sister a toy then I slowly passed the make-up section and something caught my eye. It was in a fushia pink tube and I recognized the brand so I picked it up not really looking too much of it. I just new it was lip balm.

I got home and swatched it and I am really impressed with it. The colour is Apple Blossom which is a sheer red. I think it is meant to be a plum colour but it's more of a reddy colour. It looks the least pigmented from what I can gather from google images. Resulting in it being perfect for school. It has a white apple center which gives me the impression that is the lip balm bit and the outside is the lipstick. Lips stay moisturized and best bit is it smells amazing. It actually smells of candy apples. I just want to eat it. I wouldn't advice it though :)

You can buy this off the Superdrug website for £2.49

School Emergency | Leah'xo

Most schools go back to school tomorrow, I go back on Wednesday so I am going to do my preparing tomorrow. *Keep updated for my back to school uniform* Anyway what I can do it my DIY Emergancy Kit for school.

 1. Deodorant - Last year I was guilty of having to ask loads of people for deodorant because I hadn't got any and I was sweating. So I would suggest to take a roll on deodorant incase you set of your fire alarms but I take spray because ain't nobody got time to be unbuttoning shirts taking them off waiting for the roll on to sink into your skin and then buttoning your shirt #firstworldproblems Ahaha.
 2. Hair Brush - School isn't always easy. You may need to brush your hair at break because you have been pulling it out to try and answer your algebra question. Just a simple small one or a tangle teaser.
 3. Chewy or Mints - There may be a time where you eat your tuna sandwich and feel abit insecure or where you just need to chew. Just don't let on you have any or you will be replacing them everyday, people go crazy for them :)
 4. Shine Blotting Tissues - If you are like me and have a very oily T-zone you may need these just to freshen up through-out the day. Even though you can add powder I just find these do a better job as powder may make you look cakey.
 5. Lip Balm - I always have chapped lips so I have medicated lip balm from ASDA but you can have tinted lip balm. Adding abit more your style into it :)
 6. Lotion - When you are always washing your hands in school your hands can get sore and dry so if you just add a travel sized body lotion you won't have that problem, I always get dry around my fingernails so this helps alot.
 7. Perfume or Body Mist - Even if you add 1000 squirts of perfume it if going to wear off throughout the 6 hour day. Just so you can smell nice take a small body spray. This helps if you are abit sweaty aswell :)

I hope you enjoyed reading my Emergency School Kit, make sure to comment down below if you think I have missed anything out.

Favorite Lipstick | Leah'xo

Hello, are you a lipstick person? I certainly am and I am here today to tell you what my favorite lipsticks is, I know it is a fall colour but i love it <3 Let's get straight into it.

1. Nivea Pure Diamond Volume Shine in 66 Mauve Parure.
I actually couldn't find this online on an actual store but I found loads of ebay. One seller states 'Nivea VOLUME SHINE PURE DIAMOND is a light refracting glossy lipstick
infused with pure diamond powder and high shine polymers.'
I can say it is glossy and is has a high shine. My sister told me it looked like it was wet in some lights. (Her amateur thoughts towards make-up means its shiny :) ) It then goes onto say '...and the creamy texture provides maximum moisture.' It is very creamy but you do have to put a generous coat on like usual to get that creamy and smooth feel on lips. It does provide moisture - at the moment mine are very dry and rubbing them together hurts. I can do this with this lipstick. The best thing about this lipstick is the apperance. It's sides are actually like a diamonds. You will see in the picture :)

(I HAVE TO UPLOAD THE PICTURE TOMORROW. IT WAS TOO DARK TO TAKE ANY AND THE FLASH COMPLETELY WASHED ME OUT... )

Traveling Essentials - Make-up | Leah'xo

Well who's going camping? I am.
I thought this would be a good opportunity to show you what I would take when I am traveling. There is no way just because I am going camping I am going to take nothing, I am pretending it's going to be like the tent in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
Anyway, what I take for camping is probably what you all will take abroad or something so here I go:

Simple Hydrating Moisturizer and Bayliss & Harding Lavender Body Lotion.

Miss Sporty Liquid Concealer and MUA Pro-Base Conceal and Brighten Kit.

Natural Collection Pressed Powder with a Lydia Professional Face Brush and a cheap eyeshadow brush from Ebay.

Powder Brush from The Poundshop and George Blush in Little Gem.

No7 Highlighter thing :) Collection Bronze Glow.

MUA Brow Pencil In Blonde.

I know my make-up case isn't nice but it's the only one I have. All the ones I try don't fit brushes into them. I hope you enjoyed seeing what I will take to camping. Really I showed you this to show you, actually all you need is a few things. For Example I use my highlighter as eyeshadow. Love all of you guys :)

Tea Tree Toner Tab Review | Leah'xo

Hello guys, how are you all today? I am sick so I wrote a blog post to take my mind of it.

Last night a crumbled half of my toner tab into my facial sauna. My face straight after felt incredibly smooth and clean. I then poured the remaining water into a jug and stored it in the fridge (the woman in the store told me to.) This morning I woke up and wiped it onto my nose and around my face. I still have half left and will use it when I am not being sick. But I can say when I am ill my face get bumps and is very rough but it has remained the smoothness it was last night. For £1.00 I think I have fell in love. They are 2.50 dollars.

My Addiction To Lush | Leah'xo

DISCLAIMER - I AM NOT BEING PAID TO FEATURE ANY PRODUCTS IN THIS BLOG, ALL VIEWS ARE MY OWN. I DID NOT GET PAID TO FEATURE LUSH IN MY BLOG EITHER, I JUST HAVE BECAME OBSESSED TODAY AND THOUGHT YOU'D LIKE TO KNOW.
Watching Bunny's (Grav3yardgirl on YouTube) Birthday Lush haul I decided to drop in today and at first I was looking around and thought - "This is abit overpriced" Then I tried some samples and fell in love They are against animal testing, they only use fresh ingredients, they are 100% vegetarian, they are handmade AND the packaging is plain resulting in easier recycling!! WHAT MORE COULD YOU ASK FOR?  . I only bought a small something because I didn't have much money but there's alot on my wish list. I thought I'd share my wishlist with a brief description (from the website!). I think I am going to do one per section because there is alot I would love:

Pink Fun, £5.00 for the amount in picture:-
This Image Had To Be Big Otherwise You Couldn't See It Properly.

This is a magic product, you can use it as shampoo, bubble bath, play-do, soap, body cleanser. SO MANY THINGS. The website says :-
'Ideal for children (of all ages), Pink Fun can be whatever you want it to be. This gentle 4-in-1 product can be used as a solid shampoo, bubble bar, soap, or even for play. One of five colours in the range, this is a nostalgic trip back in time to childhood smells of vanilla and sweets. First, enjoy making models and shapes out of it, and then either break off a small piece and use as a soap or shampoo, or crumble under running water for bubble bath. Its sweet smell comes from tonka absolute, which adds a warm, caramel note.'
Doesn't it just sound amazing, it's like play-do that a teenager can play with and not get funny looks :) ahah.
Herbalism, £6.40 for a 100g tub :-

This is one of the product the woman shown me in the shop today, it is a cleanser for the skin. It smells vinegary and looks like moss. When she picked it up I looked like she was mad. Then she picked abit up and added water. It was like magic! I said that I have been breaking out recently and loads of blackheads have appeared and she said this would be great. I want it so badly now! Shame I didn't have enough money with me! It has the strangest ingredients including NETTLES?! But it is so nice on the skin. The website says :-
'Nettles, rosemary and rice bran vinegar work to cleanse the skin, removing dirt and grease, leaving bright and beautifully clean skin. Chamomile blue oil and rose absolute are used for balancing skin tone. Rice bran and ground almonds will gently exfoliate the skin and when mixed with water, the almonds create a soft cleansing milk. Our chlorophyllin is extracted from alfalfa, which is rich in vitamins and minerals and is great for revitalising the skin.'
Sympathy for the Skin, £11.25 for 240g :-

This product seems like a fairy in a tub. It's a cooling body lotion which doesn't it sound amazing after a hot bath. The website says :-
'We've packed this lotion with bananas, cocoa butter and vanilla to nourish and soften sore skin. Fresh, organic bananas are mashed and added to a loose emulsion of vanilla pod infusion, cocoa butter and almond oil, which helps the skin more easily absorb the vitamin and mineral-rich bananas. Sandalwood is great for dry skin as it’s anti-inflammatory and cooling.'
Tea Tree Toner Tab, £1.00 for each tablet.

This is what I bought today as I seen Bunny had it. I am tempted to do a post about my nightly routine with this included, would anyone be interested? Anyway I think I am going to love this. As I actually have a proppa Facial Sauna I thought this product would be perfect. I am going to crumble half into the bottom of the facial sauna and some in a little cup and I then will use it another day. The website says :-

'If your skin could use a little extra TLC, try this powerful yet gentle treatment of tea tree oil and aloe vera. Tea tree is known for its antibacterial and antiseptic properties, and helps to combat the bacteria that causes spots. Aloe vera is kind, cooling and wonderfully gentle on the skin. Drop into a bowl of hot water, releasing the steam to open pores and allow the essential oils to be absorbed.'

And that's about all I want to try there is so many more products I would love but I tried to be harsh on myself and only tell you 4. When I get abit more money I think I may try some other things but for now I am happy with the Toner.

Would anybody be interested in a review of the tea tree toner tab?
If so make sure to thumbs up this post and follow my blog so you can see when I next update. Also follow me on twitter: Beautybyleahxo

11.1 Mile Walk For Charity | Leah'xo

Hello, I think sometimes I have to write 'daily bloggy' type posts. Today I walked 11.1 miles for charity. I know some people may think that's not long and some people will think it's really long. I personally am not fit and any chance I can I will get out of PE. Hahaha :) I have got a larger and fuller body figure than the average teenager now-a-days so I didn't think I could do it. 4 hours later I can tell everybody I have done it. I didn't get tired, I didn't want to give up; I powered through the first part and then on the way back my converse crushed my little toe so me and my best friend (her converse also done the same!) sort of waddled back. When I say waddled I mean we hardly lifted our feet off the ground and we didn't bend our feet we just sort of struggled through. Every teacher we passed asked if we wanted to stop. Me& my best friend refused to give up. We stormed through the finish line and had a laugh. I would just like to give a big shout out to my best friend - without you I wouldn't of been able to get through it <3

When we walked 6.5 miles that was where we was having lunch. The school (bless them) went all out to make sure we felt good about ourselves. The head's got dragged out and had a chance to speak and socialize with the students, they hired a BBQ to give us all free food. The teachers came around to congratulate. We just didn't have enough time though. We had 20 minutes to eat, go the toilet and then talk and rest. Well, I must of 'rested' for the maximum of 2 minutes... I sat down, to get up and go get a hotdog to sit down and eat the bread (sausage was too hot and I was desprate for the toilet) I then went the toilet and they could only let a few at a time go so I waited for like 10 minutes then I got there and had to wait for the public and a primary school to go. When I got back it was time to go.
 MY FEET WERE KILLING ME.

Anyway, I would just like to thank the school and all my friend's for making this experience a great one (even though none of you will see this) I hope you all had a wonderful day and CONGRATULATIONS.

Comparing myself to Zoe Sugg | Leah'xo

Hey guys, today I'm going to do something a little different. Compare myself to Zoe Sugg (Also known as Zoella on youtube and has a blog on this!) I know you have all clicked on this to see how big headed I can be but I'm comparing myself in a different way. In 2009 (I THINK?!) she wrote a blog post with questions and answers. I thought it would be fun to answer the same questions and compare. The questions will be in BLACK, Zoe's answers will be in purple and mine in red...

  • What’s your favourite eye shadow colour to wear?
          Woodwinked (Golden/Brown)   Shimmery Neutral's
  • What’s the one product you wouldn’t leave your house without?
Carmex (Looks like superglue and everyone freaks when i put it on my lips)    Carmax aswell. My lips are always chapped.
  • What’s your favourite makeup look ?
Smokey Eye or...Bronzed       Simple and Matte
  • Which feature do you play up the most?
Um..My eyes probabaly         I don't really make anything dramatic, my lips maybe
  • Which feature do you try to downplay/cover up?
My legs...haha is that allowed? I do hate my legs.     My eye's (BLOGPOST ABOUT IT)
  • Your favourite makeup brand, if you could pick only ONE to exist?
MAC       MUA or Natural Collection... They are both the same really.
  • Which product have you re-purchased OVER and OVER again?
Lancome Hynose mascara (fab) & GOSH concealer in col. 2 (seriously guys... This stuff is a           miracle for dark circles, i would reccomend this a millions times over)
          Natural Collection  pressed powder.
  • Which product would you NEVER repurchase again and why?
Hmm, this is hard, i always love everything i buy...i'd say Blistex instensive moisture                          lipsalve...it's milky white and horrible and doesnt do anything.  Miss Sporty Liquid Concealer.  Conce It didn't cover anything it just made me go a funny colour.
  • One beauty treatment you would always PAY to have done?
Facial    I'd probably pay for my nails to be done with Shellac
  • One beauty treatment you would NEVER pay to have done?
Manicure/False nails..not because i hate them, but because my mum is a nail technician so i get get     them done for free. :D       I wouldn't EVER pay for a pedicure, I hate my feet being touched               and hate looking at feet. I'd rather just do them myself.
  • One beauty trick you can share with everyone?
The Gosh concealer in no.2 haha. If you dont have this...you're missing out. I have tried almost almoevery concealer on the market, nothing compares to this beaut. It is a salmony colour, so covers cove the darkness, then if you are paler than most you can always put a lighter colour on top..             A     Asif... I was actually going to say the same one. I wasn't going to recommend The Gosh                  Concealer though. So yeah...
  • Best advice you've ever been given regarding beauty and makeup?
ALWAYS moisturize..especially under the eyes.     Always match your foundation and              and   concealer. Unless you are using it to highlight.

Thanks for watching guys. If you got this far make sure to comment 'OMG, CAN'T BELIEVE YOU KISSED HARRY STYLES' just to confuse people ;-) Love you guys and stayyy beautiful.

**Zoe's answers are 6 years out of date but I thought I would take them because she would of been a teenager and not as experienced as she is now!!**

Make-up routine and confession.

Guys, for the rest of the week-end I'm at my dads. I am going to do my most recent make-up routine. All product names will be in the colour blue. Pictures of the product will be at the bottom <3

Step 1. I usually use Derma v10 dry skin cream because I get dry skin regulary. (A pain, I know!) Though sometimes I use Baylis and Harding Sweet Manderin& Grapefruit body lotion. I only use this when I don't have dry skin because if I put it on dry patches it stings (SO BAD). I don't know why, I think it might just be the fragrance.

Step 2. After that soaks in, I apply my foundation. For the summer time I use Laval Secret Beauty  Foundation (Shade Fair 006). You may not of heard of the brand because it isn't well know. But this foundation is flawless and moistorizing.

Step 3. The I apply concealer under my eyes and on any blemish's I may have. I use the Miss Sporty Liquid Concealer or MUA Conceal and Brighten Kit. Depending on how much coverage.

Step 4.  I then put over the top any transparent pressed powder I have to hand. My favorite is Lizzie Hide the shine pressed powder in Translusent. I love this because it makes my face so matte.

Step 5. I then apply the Natural Collection Blushed cheeks in Pink Cloud.

Step 6. I then apply eyeshadow. Mostly using my Pallette (I CAN'T REMEMBER THE NAME) and add any liquid eyeliner. And mascara. My favorite is Natural Collection Lash Length Mascara. But I hear the JORDANA Best Lash Extreme Volumizing Mascara. Is amazing. Does anybody use it?

Thanks for reading, much love - Leah'xo
Comment down below products you swear by. Love y'all...
